Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Phase 7 Elections 2022: In the seventh phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, voting is being held for 54 assembly seats in 9 districts of Purvanchal today. Along with Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, voting is also being held in Azamgarh, the parliamentary constituency of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
The seventh and final phase of polling is being held in UP on Monday. In this, voting is being held in 54 assembly seats in 9 districts of Uttar Pradesh including Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this phase, more than 2 crore voters will decide the fate of 613 candidates in EVMs.
The fate of former minister Dara Singh Chauhan, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party President Omprakash Rajbhar, Mukhtar Ansari’s son Abbas Ansari, Dhananjay Singh, who joined the Samajwadi Party from BJP, is at stake in this phase of elections. Significantly, the voting for six phases of the UP assembly elections has already been completed.

BJP’s estimate of 288 to 396 seats
In the exit poll of India Today-Axis My India, the BJP alliance is forming the government with a thumping majority. BJP is estimated to get 288 to 326 seats, while the SP alliance is expected to get 76 to 101 seats.
The exit polls of News24 and Today’s Chanakya have also come out. In this, 294 seats for BJP alliance, 105 for SP alliance, 2 for BSP, one for Congress and one for others.
