The technology brand Honor unveiled its new Magic V, which will be its first ‘smartphone’ with a flexible screen in its current stage as an independent company from Huawei.
Magic V: Honor presents its first mobile phone with a flexible screen
Honor has shown this through a poster published on its official profile on Twitter, which shows the device half-folded, with the hinge and flexible screen in sight.
Honor Magic V will be the brand’s first flexible screen terminal and will be a “flagship,” as Honor itself has recognized through the advertisement poster, as it belongs to the current high-end Magic family.
Honor, which belonged to Huawei but was established as an independent company at the end of 2020 to avoid the effects of the United States’ veto on its parent company, has been operating in Spain in its new stage since the second half of 2021 and the month of November launched its HiHonor online store and introduced its first flagship, Honor 50.
Its former owner, Huawei, has already launched terminals with a flexible screen on the market, with the Mate X series, as well as other brands such as Samsung with the Galaxy Z Fold (book type) and Z Flip (shell type) families, Motorola with its Razr, or Oppo, which has already launched its Find N foldable in China.
