This is the first time in the history of the league that players from 9 states have made their nomination for the auction in the world’s richest cricket league. These include Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, and Puducherry. This year the BCCI allowed these nine states to play domestic cricket.
