As hard as it is for me to post photos of myself like this on the internet knowing how many are watching, I know that it will be gone in just a few days and I dont want to hide the reality of massive weight loss. I never want to not be real with you guys. I'm here to be real, not to be perfect. Danny told me to post this because he knows how much it will help someone. The reality is girls wear bikini thongs in public and nobody bats an eye and we all have skin. I HAVE LOOSE SKIN ALL OVER MY BODY. I was almost 485lbs and it's just something that reminds me of who I once was. This is my reality. I love having curves and not having a small butt, but I cannot live in pain. #motivationmonday My name is Lexi and I lost 312lbs on my own with diet and exercise. These are the battle wounds I was left with and the freedom of my new reality. I was overweight my entire life and never once in my life have I had a flat stomach. For so long I accepted the reality I never would and knew I just needed to get healthy to save my life despite what my body looked like. Going into losing weight I knew I'd be left with loose skin regardless as it's not something that normally can be avoided, but although I realized the cosmetic aspect of it I didnt realize the physical. Once I lost my weight my skin weighed me down, threw off my posture, effected my workouts, and gave me neck pain to the point that I couldn't function for my daily activities or doing the things I loved. I dont tell you these things to scare you or make you feel sympathy for me because I'd take even more skin any day, but to motivate you to take charge of your life and the future of your own skin as soon as possible. Loose skin can cause just as much pain as not taking care of your health can. Dont wait another moment to change your life. Start today! ——————————————————————————– Whos ready to hustle for the holidays!? NEXT DIETBET STARTS 11/19!! Theres almost less than 2 months left to finish this year fighting for your health! Recovery & swell hell. Some days are good and some days are bad. Some days I am grumpy, some days I'm so happy you'd never guess I was in so much pain. Some days I sit all day and somedays I sleep all day. Some days all I can do is manage to make it to breakfast, walk a few steps, nap, and then watch television in my wheelchair. We are only 6 days in and ofcourse today I am still in pain. It's getting better daily however. This is part of the process and I'm not going to act like not it's not. I had to major surgery, multiple bruises, and an incision around my body that is start to have some blisters. Its going to take time to heal and never having surgery before the pain was worse than I had imagined. Today is my first Post Op appointment (@drjosephmichaels has been concerned about my blisters) and despite the pain and being so swollen (loose skin & part of it) I managed to do my makeup which for me is progress. Shoutout to Danny's mom for doing my hair and @discoveringdanny for dressing me. Just know I'm fighting behind the scenes to get better and be 100% healed and back for all of you! Thank you for your patience. ——————————————————————————– Whos ready to hustle for the holidays!? NEXT DIETBET STARTS 11/19!!
