Around a thousand people demonstrated today against US President Donald Trump in Paris, as part of commemorations for the centenary of the end of the First World War, according to French media.

The protesters threw into the air a huge balloon depicting Trump as a giant baby in diapers screaming.

Police said on Friday they expected the presence of between 200 and 400 violent activists.

The activists criticized the presence of Trump in the events of commemoration for the end of the contest, in which some 70 heads of State and Government participated, among them Trump, the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, or the Turk, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In another act of protest, a protester with her chest exposed and the word “fake” (false) and peace wrote on it pounced on the caravan of vehicles in which Trump attended the commemorative events.

The woman managed to circumvent the security fence, as reported by journalists who were in the convoy. In a video, you can see how the woman, who is part of the Femen organization, runs towards the Champs Elysees when Trump’s vehicle passes by. The other vehicles of the caravan continued their journey while the protesters raised their arms.

Security forces detained the woman and forced her to leave the place.

Femen reported on Twitter that the activist wanted to highlight the “hypocrisy” of the commemorative events held today. In another video, you could see two women with bare chests that the security forces held in the security barriers.
