President Donald Trump did not arrive today at the headquarters of the United Nations before the scheduled time of his second speech before the General Assembly, which prompted the advance of the address of the president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno.

But the US president did not leave the Trump Tower, located on Fifth Avenue in New York, until 10:08 in the morning (14:08 GMT), seven minutes before the scheduled start time of his speech, according to the group of journalists who accompanied him.
In order not to delay the session, and in accordance with UN protocol, Moreno, who had planned to speak after Trump, took the podium once the president of Brazil, Michel Temer, concluded his address, at 10:10 ( 14:10 GMT).
Before the speeches began, Trump said in a Twitter message: “I will be speaking at the United Nations this morning, our country is much stronger and much richer than it was since I came to power less than two years ago. We are MUCH safer! ”
