Henry Cavill could be the new James Bond after Daniel Craig. Maybe  Henry Cavill has left the DC Universe after Justice League, but his Hollywood career is unstoppable. According to a rumor collected in ScreenRant, the actor would be in the spotlight of the producers of the Bond saga to be the next Agent 007 after the departure of Daniel Craig.

The rumor comes from Crazy Days and Nightsmedia that published that the team wanted to sign a “foreigner and former superhero” The description would fit with Cavill, since, unlike the rest of the former secret agents, he was not born in the United Kingdom, but in Jersey. It is predicted that  Bond 25 – currently in development with  Cary Fukunaga as director – is the last time we see Craig in the James Bond suit. For this reason, the studio has to find the perfect substitute.

We remember that it is just a rumor and that we have to wait for official confirmation. Crazy Days and Nights is the same website that pointed to Tom Cruise as the next Green Lantern, something that, for the time being, will not happen.

Do not forget that Cavill is deeply involved in The Witcher, the ambitious Netflix project that will adapt the adventures of Geralt de Rivia. He is currently in pre-production and, most likely, will keep his agenda busy for the next year (at least). The actor is enthusiastic since he confesses a passionate character.
