The body camera of the agent recorded the deadly incident
Police Kill an Immigrant Who Tried to Remove His Electric Shock Gun: The shocking images of the death of immigrant Emmanuel Alquisiras were reported by the sheriff of Volusia County, Florida after one of his officers shot dead a suspect in a domestic violence incident.
Emmanuel Alquisiras, 29, of Mexico, died after several shots fired by agent Brandon Watson, who wanted the man to calm down after having shot him down with a Tazer gun.
When the officer asked him for calm, the Mexican snatched his electric gun and tried to shoot him, which led the officer to hit him with his pistol five times.
The man died in front of his wife and four children. The woman who has not been identified had called a domestic abuse center to report the constant beatings of her husband.
The fatal incident occurred last Friday in the rural area of Seville, Florida when Watson arrived northwest of Volusia and asked for explanations from Alquisiras and another man who was sitting at the top of the stairs of the house.
When Alquisiras sat on the stairs, he repeatedly ignored Watson’s orders to put his hands behind his back, then grabbed the Taser gun triggering the agent’s reaction.
The Mexican had already been arrested on domestic violence charges in 2008, explained Volusia Sheriff Mike Chitwood, who defended the actions of his agent.
After watching the body camera video of last night's deputy-involved shooting, it's clear to me that this deputy was placed in a terrible situation & did everything he could to try and convince this man to stop fighting. I stand behind the deputy 100%. We will release the video.

The immigrant’s wife who called the domestic abuse hotline said that when Alquisiras consumed cocaine, “he tends to hit her and be extremely violent,” Chitwood said. It is not clear if Alquisiras used cocaine on Friday night.
Watson, who has been a deputy of Volusia since May 2015, is on administrative leave while the Florida Department of Police is conducting an investigation into the case.
