Game of Thrones Could Start Shooting Its Prequel in the Fall

Game of Thrones Could Start ShootingHBO would be preparing its first spin-off, set in thousands of years before the original series.

Game of Thrones Could Start Shooting: The Game of Thrones machinery does not seem to stop. After some of the main actors of the series announced the end of their filming and therefore their farewell to the characters that have accompanied them in the last decade, HBO has everything planned to continue extending success beyond the end of production television more followed of recent times.

Game of Thrones Could Start Shooting

After the end of the filming of the eighth season of Game of Thrones, the calendar aims that in the autumn of this same year will begin shooting the first season of the spin-off of the series. According to the Northern Ireland newspaper The Belfast Telegraph, the technical team of the series will return to work once the summer is over.

Belfast is the city in which most of the filming of this last season has taken place, so it seems that the newspaper has reliable sources that would point to the end of 2018 HBO will have new material to continue spreading the universe created by George RR Martin.

The Long Night

As the information points out, the next series to be shot will be a prequel to Game of Thrones focused on the so-called Long Night, which takes place thousands of years before the original series and which will count the first wave of white walkers that besieged the world of the HBO series.

The prequel could count as a protagonist with Azor Ahai, the mythical character that saved humanity from the walkers thousands of years ago and of which there is a prophecy that ensures that it will return to protect the world from the walkers.
